On November 21st, Consul General of the British Consulate General in Wuhan, Dominic MacDonald, and Director of Energy for China at the UK Department of Commerce and Trade, Liang Tao, visited the Wuhan Institute of Industrial Innovation and Development to discuss cooperation between China and the UK in the transition to clean energy. RIKOMAY, as a leading clean energy technology-based enterprise in China, was invited to attend and deliver a speech.

 

 

At the meeting, Cao Yuancheng, Chairman of RIKOMAY, warmly welcomed and sincerely thanked Consul General Mai Duoming, Director Tao Liang, and his delegation. He pointed out that practicing low-carbon environmental protection is the common mission of all humanity, and accelerating the transformation and upgrading of clean energy is the trend of the future. He expressed his pleasure in holding this dialogue on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of clean energy cooperation between China and the UK. 

 

During the exchange, Professor Cao Yuancheng provided a detailed introduction to the cultural philosophy, development history, technological products, and application scenarios of RIKOMAY Company. He stated that since its establishment, RIKOMAY has always adhered to the mission of "making clean energy accessible to the world", and continues to deeply cultivate the fields of power battery recycling, retired power battery cascading utilization, new energy storage construction and management, and related business areas. The company always adheres to a high standard positioning, high-level construction, and high-quality development. It is the only enterprise in the world that can innovate and has independent property rights throughout the entire chain, from basic theory , production technology, complete equipment to evaluation standards. Currently, RIKOMAY's related technologies and products have been applied in multiple domestic and international markets, including China, the United States, Hungary, Malaysia, and Australia, meeting the technical standards and specifications of various countries both at home and abroad. 

 

 

Tao Liang, the Director of Energy Business for the UK Department of Commerce and Trade in China, highly recognized the technology products of RIKOMAY and highly appreciated its global vision and layout. He pointed out that in the past decade, China and the UK have had close cooperation and commercial relations in the field of clean energy, and in the future, the two countries will also jointly lead the transformation and development of the global clean energy industry. The UK aspires to become a clean energy superpower, but in the actual development process, opportunities and challenges coexist. He hopes to delve into the mature experience, advanced models, and excellent technologies and products of China and Chinese enterprises in the field of clean energy, especially in offshore wind energy and new energy storage.

 

During the meeting, Professor Cao Yuancheng and Director Tao Liang reached a high degree of agreement on the concept of low-carbon development and international cooperation for win-win results, and exchanged opinions and suggestions on future cooperation in power battery recycling and new energy storage business.

 

For the upcoming 10th anniversary of clean energy cooperation between China and the UK, Professor Cao Yuancheng hopes that the British Consulate General in China and the British business delegation can visit RIKOMAY to witness its research and development and production processes, and feel RIKOMAY's belief and determination to "make clean energy accessible to the world". Director Tao Liang earnestly hopes that RIKOMAY can bring the company's innovative technologies, processes, and products to the UK, empower and increase efficiency for British enterprises, and assist in the construction of a clean energy superpower in the UK.
