Continuous rotary roasters (rotary kilns)
Rotary roaster is a kind of equipment for high temperature heating treatment of powdery or granular materials. The rotary roaster generally consists of furnace cylinder, heating system, insulation system, control system. Before normal operation, the furnace must be baked first. When the temperature of the furnace body rises to the process requirements, the material to be roasted by the spiral or chute and the head of the feed box guide plate into the furnace cylinder. The heating system adopts electric heating radiation or combustion chamber sectional control, and the maintenance of the working temperature in each area of the furnace chamber is realized by adjusting the power of the electric heating element or the flame size of the burner. The inclined furnace cylinder is rotating in slow speed, and the material is roasted while moving forward, and finally enter into the next process by the discharge device at the end of the furnace. The residence time of the material in the furnace cylinder is designed and controlled by adjusting the tilting angle of the cylinder, the rotation speed and the special internal components.
